The old server died. I have restored from a backup and we have lost around 2 days comments/posts.

Clock time on my posts is an hour slow.

Its very slow, a bit hit and miss.

Has page 2,3,and 4 of the History board gone?

It seems that I can only get the first page of any boards. Places seems to be ok

As Tommy T says, the clock is an hour slow, but it'll be right at the end of October when the clocks go back.

I'm bumping this as I would like to know it pages 2 upward on the history section are lost forever. There was some interesting stuff there

Well done to Brian/Ron for Sorting WW out. Many thanks for the time and effort that must of gone on to get the site which is FREE to use up and running again . There may be minor issues to still sort out and the loss of a few pages compared to over 78000 topics that were saved is a minor inconvenience to most members Again well done

If I could just point out the Wiganworld Hobbies/books, Wigan History, and Handbags, are only showing the first page. Have all those missing pages been lost?

I have adverts between each post and its getting on my t,ts I have asked before about getting tm of hut no joy from admin I am looking for another site to go on, so it will be goodbye to the cruel WW

I have an 'Ad.Blocker' installed. Sometimes, I can't get on sites because of it. I get a pop-up that says "we see you have an ad blocker installed. We rely on adverts to keep our site running. Please remove the ad blocker to continue" Some of Gaffer's newspaper articles have this, also Wigan Today, occasionally.

Well said Tonker, you as a tradesman need coverage to plan your work out, thats why I can't believe these other, so called,Electrical engineers who boast of owning BIG companies but don't publish their company name and contact details, , ???
It makes them out to be liars,,,,,

Admin, I asked for help to remove the adverts from my pad but I see you have not bothered to do any thing about it, I delete them but they are back st the next post so I think it,s going to be goodbye to Wigan world.

I have AdBlocker Ultimate you can get it as an extension on your browser, it is free, and it works perfectly on Wigan World, with not an ad in sight, other sites have a fight with it, the Wigan Post site, doesn't like it, and it has a moan at you about the fact that yoo are using an ad blocker, and some of the American news sites, stop you accessing their website, if you are running an ad blocker.

Or do the same as him ****, which is the same as me and as I said earlier!

Or do it a better way.
